Ah well, i just dont hope he doesn't get a client like coca cola or some big name brand, then he shall be eating trash all of his life. He isn't even a registered trade mark so i hope he gets caught since he is displaying himself as a company.

Dudes... try to keep it clean, will ya? You're now personally attacking him, not criticizing (?) his sites.

Although I gotta admit there are some major flaws in his own site... If you work with flash you at least gotta make a vector logo or make a pixel logo that has the size you want... NEVER RESIZE A PIXEL LOGO!!!! It gets blocky and ugly.

And I believe you used your entire font collection of that lil'intro of yours. It's just confusing and it shows that you haven't defined your own style yet, how are you supposed to give the client what he wants then?

And indeed.... If you publish a site... make sure it is finished. In your flash site all of the submenu's don't work. And in the HTML site when you click the 'APS client' you are redirected to the index page... You'll have to fix that for sure.

It also looks like you put the HTML design together in stages... It doesn't 'work' well with eachother. A lot of cut-offs and just going on to an ad or something. You also designed the site for a res larger than 1280x960... You should definitly be able to put all this content in a smaller site suited for all resolutions. You gotta keep in account that most companies still run their machines at 1024x768 ( or even 800x600!).

There are some more tips I want to give you, but I think 5-0 covered most of them.

If someone gives you c&c... read, understand, and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! Don't go bitching at the person that gave you some pointers... Although I gotta admit 5-0 was a bit harsh. But that doesn't give you the reason to 'attack' the guy in person. He never said he had a killer site... you don't see Rembrandt making any sites(sort of speak)... yet still he is a graphic artist, so is 5-0. So let his site be and concentrate more on your own and try to improve (some of) the things we pointed out.

Now it's time for a cigaret... you kept my hands busy for a while, but for now I'm gonna let it rest.

Well said marlboroman. I didnt think my first crit was at all harsh. I thought it was down to earth and it was honest. If people i trying to sell services then they deserve much tougher c&c.

I didnt cover most of them, i just found the funny ones.

I am only attacking him personally because he was sad enough to look at my profile, then comment on it lol.

thats fair play man, it ws just that 5-0 was just a bit annoying. i dont mind people saying this dont work or somfink like that, but when the act all hard and gay like that, it just annoys me.

anyhoo, how u think i shud redesign the site? im gonna reword it, i didnt have a clue what to put on it when i first made it so i just went around some other web sites and c+p 'd some stuff into mine!

well do what you want it is your site. I am not very bothered.

What i would do is, look at other professional design sites. they offer huge amounts of inspiration. Just look at other peoples sites for ideas. I would look at things like tokyo plastic and boxer.co.uk. They are both incredible flash sites, that should give you some ideas.

I don't know which mod closed this, and I'm not supposed to contradict them, but I will leave it closed after I explain what is going on here and why it was closed, in my eyes. I do agree with the close but some word need to be taken.

First of all, 5-0 is a harsh straight forward person, no reason to come back at him for it. All of the mods on the board have read hundreds and hundreds of his posts and find him to be an hard arse. But this does not make him eligible for restriction.

Admed, telling people you will slap them, to get a life, being negative against cetain labels, calling people "gay," putting down peoples work without C&C - all of this and more is unacceptable. Not to mention three posts in a row, we do have an edit button.

Everyone on this board deals with the crap that 5-0 feeds out and you will too, or you will find a different board. He means it without harm. I applaud MalboroMan for his efforts to calm the subject and make an appropriate post.

Joe, expressing your feelings for someone by giving negative comments about their sexual reproductive organs is unacceptable, learn to keep it clean and state your mind before you find yourself in the same boat.

5-0, I find that you have carried yourself in a manner that was rude, but acceptable by staying calm and within guidelines with the flames and rules and I do realize that your flames are more C&C than anything.

Quick C&C to ahmed - bad idea to copy and paste writing from another site. Do that from mine and I'll ride your arse till the day I die, and I'm sure if these others knew they would do the same.

Now, a couple bans could go out but I'm leaving it at this, learn your lessons before any of you find youself in the dog house. Every mod on this board will not hold this against you if you change your attitude and tone. Regretfully, this is your only warning.
