Skateboard Design

I recently snapped my board in half, no big deal to you, but for me, it sucked BIG time. With car insurance and everything else I cant really afford a new 50 dollar deck... priorities first ya know? Well, Jesus answered my prayers haha, a local skateshop want designs for there new deck, if yours is voted the best, you get a free deck. I've designed a few, you can see them in my gallery.. Im running out of any ideas... anyone want to help me design a few.. i would be more than grateful! If you choose to help me a will be sure to let you know if your design was choosen. I can also send you a picture of the deck with your design printed on it. The only guide line is it can have too much detail. Thanks Alot!

Well... First off. *Looks at your designs* Right... First thing: You need to have design outside the skateboard area too! Printers aren't point-precise and designs that are going to be printed are always made larger (aka make the whole canvas full of design).
Second:

that solves the dimensions question. Remember to use a bit larger ones. And remember to do the whole image full of the design, not just the board area.
And next: Were there any requirements for the format of your submission? In what way will you be submitting your design?
I just did alot of work that should've been done by you and be in the first post. And fixing a typo of yours: "It can't have too much detail." Good night peeps.

Thanks for the reply, but no, other than the typo, i was correct, the stipulations for the contest are to simply design a board... you can even draw, in the shape of a board... obviously not actual size... and thay will do the voting... thanks anyway

Well I know its a lot of work, but you could take a Thor's Hammer or just Thor and put that on the deck.....I think that would be nice.

I don't know the level of the local artist, but I must say that you're missing a theme on you're decks, the text is neat, and I like the zipper But I think you should pick a theme and design around it, like thunder....or destruction.

At the destruction thing you could make it look as if the board has a huge tear over it, as is you grinded with it, without you're wheels attached, that's by the way not one of my stunts....
