Help Canon iP5200

I thought this might be the appropriate place to ask. I am hoping that someone can help me. I have a Canon iP5200 and it is costing an arm and a leg to run. Inks cost £50 to replace and don't last long (in fact don't buy a Canon printer for this reason). I am after used Canon inks cartridges as I am after the chips on them to use on compatible ink cartridges. So if you know anyone with this printer and they use Canon inks could I ask if they or you would send them to me. I will re-embers postage. I have tried to use the chips from the Canon cartridges but keep getting 'error 6502'. Canon are not helpful when it comes to sorting out problems with compatible cartridges.

If I can get this right I can buy the CIS system for it and that costs from e-bay £50. So you can see why I need to resolve the problem. Can't afford to buy a new printer.

By the way HAPPY NEW YEAR

Tony

Hi Tony, and Happy New Year.

Sorry I can't help you directly with your problem (thankfully I use Epson printers!), but I did find this thread on another forum that contains lots of advice and information about this issue: http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...73&forum_id=40

Yeah sorry for the late reply, I was browsing for information about the IP5200 for a friend and I saw your post I thought I might help... but that's too bad but you can use that site for any product they have a large range of products!
I just notice recently that they added a new feature which is the live chat support, it work like messenger and its free
