I need money!

Hi I am young and I am looking for a good way to make money. I can make logos banners and I know flash. The most I have ever charged was 5 dollars. Please tell me if you wanna see my work or want something made.

I guess you'd still live with your parents(or parent) right? Well what I do to get money is I do things around the house(dishes, firewood, vaccuum etc). And each job has a set ammount of money that goes with it. Through the week I write down what jobs I do and then add up the money at the end of the week(which my mum then gives to me).
And my mum has her own small business so every now and then I make a business card or something for her. I usually get about $30-$40 for those .

What NEOD101 suggests is a very good idea. I have the same arrangement with my kids, and it seems to work well for all concerned: they get money, I get the household chores done, and it also helps to prepare them for having places of their own in the future.

I realise you are looking to make some money from your artistic skills, but the graphic design marketplace is pretty cut-throat and you have to be really good to make any appreciable amount of money. However, any examples of your work would be welcome if you want to post them here.

I`m on my psp so I posted the logo i made. Don`t think about the legs since I couldn`t find the original file. And yes i do make money around teh house

Try getting some kind of small job to bring in money, such as mowing your neighbor's lawn or something. I mow two of my neighbor's lawns, which brings me about $30 a month.
Another wierd thing you could do is collect cans and bottles, which you can return to your local grocery store for about 5 cents apiece. Occasionally I'll find a big bag of cans and bottles which brings in around 2 or 3 bucks. Hey, you can't get that! Free money! Be aware, though, that in most states you can't return non-carbonated drinks like bottled water and Gatorade (i have no idea why).

If you want to keep going doing graphic work and if its more important than amount of money earned go and write a blog...give samples of your work and keep going......practise practise practise...

for making extra money, everything everyone posted is very good. but if your looking to make money with your artistic skills i would search around a freelance forum or something..

Well you'll be 14 in a year... you'll be able to get a "real" job then... or just be a golf cattie (sp?) now. They hire 13 year olds off the books.

If your REALLY want to get money for you work (you will have to be good of course) you have two options I can think of.

• Go to DeviantArt.com
• Get an subscription account
• Sell Prints

or

• Go to cafepress.com
• Sign Up of course
• Make tee's and other products
• It's free

Or even assemble your own website... get some attractive stuff on there to make it famous and then put some ads on it (Ones that pay you of course) and a paypal donate buttion and a link to your cafepress.

Thats all I got for easy money... of course all of these you will need to get you parents involved (cause there the ones with the credit card) exept for cafepress...

And uh... I got nothing else...
