Honestly the designs you guys have done are good, but not very good as a logo. (not to bee too critical). Just some advice I picked up along the way, design the logo sketching things out on paper in black/white first before picking up photoshop or illustrator.

Always design in Black/white and add color afterwards & always always always make sure the logo would look good scaled small enough for a business card AND large enough for the front of a brochure or on a sign.

The best thing about the logos you have created are the simplicity, but they look thrown together without much thought... Then again you are providing a free logo, so you can't expect to spend a lot of time on it.

i think the logo from GoldNetX is pretty good,
needs some work maybe but the font and placing of thet text is good, and i really do like the circle(if i may call it like that) around the text. you could maybe add somekind of shiney effect(i love shiney effects) to the circle but for the rest it's great......

and to stiney51, it's true indeed that you need to have a logo fitting a busines card and a brochure but a cicrle as an outer rim makes always a good logo....
and for the part of simplicitey that's true but i never seen a really difficult to make logo...i think that that's to expensive for big companies.

There's nothing wrong with the circle, it's actually quite an attractive piece to the logo. The company name needs to stand out more though. You want people saying I should call TLP to get my photo taken, not I should call that company with the circle logo to get my photo taken.

Use the circle, but increase the TLP Photography or incorporate it more into the text design.

I apologize if I come across a little harsh, just trying to help by giving some constructive advice for everyone.

PNGs

Here's some PNG versions of my logo. And yes, the ribbons were made with the pen tool.
