Solar Flare
OK, I've been working on a little project of my own and I've run into a problem trying to get a realistic looking sun with solar flares. Basically, I'm looking for a sun viewed as if from space with a realtively bright surface and solar flares extending out into space.
I hope that discription is enough to get the help I need. I can create a nice yellow-white globe on a black background, but after than things go wrong.
I tried googling for a solution but couldn't find anything worthwhile.
