Indeed, but "fighting" itself is all about muscle and speed. The process before the fight, now that is an interesting topic

No, i was talking about buying the right equipment That's where the fight is being fought, duh! Like your ever going to catch a flie without a good old rolled up newpaper!
@tamlin, Sure that's why almost al coutry's have military forces outside their own borders. Those forces are there for "protecting the rest" or to "fight terrorism". Way to go mankind!!

I think you've just found another way to stretch this thread out: let's talk politics! That's bound to get a few people riled up.
So let me throw this open to our American members: It looks like Obama is set to be your next President. How do you feel about that?
(Of course, non-US members are free to comment too.)

I think it's a pity, not because I dislike obame or anything. No I think its great if a obama becomes president. But I think that when obama wins, and becomes the democrat candidate, that then the republicans have more change of winning the race ...
And I rather see that the democrats win! So therefore I was hoping that clinton would run for president...
BTW: no Im not from the USA, but doesn't this effect us al? especially here in the Netherlands..."we" have done everything the USA asked us for (even if the people wanted different!)

Another presidential election. How many American presidents actually followed through with their primary race promises? They get into office and are simply a puppet for all the other government bodies whom are puppets for lobbyists. And who's the puppeteer? Big business. Presidential elections are a distraction - give the population something to do that makes them feel like they've made an important decision, let them become 'fans' of their favorite candidate and behave as though it's a sporting event. Let them exercise their right to vote! Even the voting process is a sham. So, it doesn't really matter who's face we have to endure for the next 4 or 8 years, they're just reading off a cue card anyway.

The US Government will do what it wants even if the American people want different.

I have never been able to label myself along party lines ie: democrat or republican.
Just seems like we have the "privelege" of deciding on whom we have been over hyped into believing is "the best choice" usually the lesser of two doofuses.
it could be very intresting having obama for prez. I wouldnt mind a bit.
my only concern is that allthough its time, and would go a long way towards buriyng the hatchet over the whole nasty slavery and segregation issue, I am afraid that there are too many people that still wear white sheets that would decide to take mattters into thier own hands.
It's too bad that as a society and a nation we still havent "grown up"
too many of my fellow Americans are fat, uneducated, overbearing, violent, opnionated, or just jerks. many of whom wont give other cultures thier due credit for contributions to mankind.
it's too bad that those are the type of americans the rest of the world sees in the spotlight.
