Mentioning a church is not really a religious conversation hon? A church is nothing but a building and all they did was mention they frequented that building? RELIGION is what is going on inside that church. They never stated any of their beliefs, nor forced anything down another's throat?

As you self said, churches play an important part in some religions and you don't really have to read long to find the word in treyger's first post. So please, next time you decide to try to screw with my ideas, get someone with a bit higher intellectual level to re-read the topic for you, just in case.
Christian, but not a religious person? That sentence is about informative, as "The crocodille on the left is green, but the one on the right is in the water". Even the word organized doesn't change the idea of the sentence. Religion is really nothing more than a big organization, wether you like it, or not.
