Exclamation Hello Biorust Painters n Photographers

My name is Tamber AKA Unique

This is a really fun site and i'm very happy I found it after long searches and going half insane on how to do what and when in APS.. as i start to learn photoshop and my way around Biorust I'll be happy for any help anyone can give me. So far i've learned many things that will be helpfull to me in my Digital Photography Class.. I can say i'll actually get ahead of the rest if i keep this place a secret.. can i do that.. well, mmmmmm.. I don't think so... LOL... I just love Sharing...

I do have one question however, How in the heak do you take one photograph and copy it to another in layers ? I'm having a heak of a time finding that basic tutorial .. I know this sounds silly and most likely very simple to most of you pro's so if you could just point me in the the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm open to all techniques that you can hook me up with.

Thanks and i'm glad to be here .. Unique

Hello unique and welcome.

The first thing to find out is what kind of photo editing software are you using?

Hi there Tamber/Unique and welcome to BioRUST.
I've never been to Yosemite, but I've seen Ansel Adams's photos so I'm really jealous of you living with such amazing scenery!

This is such a basic technique that you probably don't need a tutorial, as such. Just open up both images in Photoshop, then select the Move tool (shortcut key: V) and then click and drag one image into the other - the dragged image will automatically appear as a new layer. The only thing you need to be aware of is that you may get unexpected results in the sizing if your two images are of different resolutions. Also, you may have difficulties if you have two different colour-modes.

Hope this helps.

Ohh Thank you so much Tamlin.. You have no idea what your help means to me.

and yes living below Yosemite is great , you may think we go up there all the time but we don't.. There is so much around the valley and foothills alone that so many people miss out on because Yosemite is in the Limelight here.. There is also Huntington lake that has some amazing hidden hide-a-ways that i don't imagine to many people go to because of the difficulty level of the Hikes haha.. Hey more eyecandy for me. I'll post some photographs as soon as i can.. and i really hope you all enjoy them... Especially the High Sierria .. Absolutley Amazing
