hello

hi guys im a HUGE noob to when it comes to photo shop but i wanna try and learn

i am currently useing photoshope CS

and im looking for places to start any advice

Welcome to BioRust mangoman! I am a recent starter like yourself, with regards to where to start, where do you want to start? Is it enhancing photographs or simply creating someting from nothing? You, like myself can probably find lots of help from the tutorial sections (depending on what you want to create!) or from the download sections (again, depending on what you want to create.)

hi m8 thanx for the welcome

well when it comes to pencil/paper i am pro

but im finding it hard to get into photoshop is the specific hardware i need to make things easier?

im mainly looking to use this to enahnce my already created drawings and createing from scratch

There are many graphic tablets you can use ranging from cheap to rather expensive. Tamlin gave me a few links, you might start your hunt at amazon. There again there may be other sites out there that can help you.

That does depend on where you're located (UK, USA etc) . And what your requirements are. But I suggest that if you are competent in drawing freehand then a graphics tablet is for you. (I know i would rather have a tablet than a mouse anyday!). And from what I hear, tablets are more preferable to mice when it comes to freehand anyways!

Failing that, a high resolution scanner should allow you to open your pencil / pen scetches into photoshop, where you may roam freely with colouring and so forth.
