I just thought that I would go ahead and introduce myself, since it was suggested that I do so.

I am a senior in high school, but I have found a love for Photoshop and Indesign that cannot be paralleled. Now, I know that I am very inefficiently skilled when it comes to the ins and outs of these programs, but I do believe that time heals all wounds, which includes the inaptitude of editing software.

I haven't really created anything, since most of the time I am busy writing, since that is my true passion. I am very literate, and plan on becoming an author in the, hopefully near, future.

So far I have only done simple photo edits, anime picture edits, and text effect edits. But the class I am for Graphic Design at one of the two high schools I transition to during the day we have begun working on simple projects such as making your own texts.

I stumbled upon this site while looking for tutorials for text effects, since those interest me the most. I found a bunch of things that I can use for CS3 at my house, and CS2 here.

Since it was suggested that I post here, I have! So, without further ado, I leave you all to your posts.

I know that I just posted, but I thought I would let you all know that I posted two simple projects that I did while at school. One was done on Photoshop CS2, and the other was made in Indesign. Take a look, and comment, if you want.

Welcome here hope you have a great time here. I think it looks great by the way your not so heavy text effect!!

Anyway, maybe try play around with layer styles and such...just an idea.

I found these really neat tuturials about text effects, maybe they can help you out
I must say they are pretty time consuming, I treid them all.
