Nice stuff here, and I like your credits system a lot.

Question: When I'm browsing the gallery (specifically in the Textures section), I'm finding some great textures. I've not been able to find a place where I can download the ones I like; can I do that?

To be honest, I imagine the textures are the for people to download, just like wallpapers (right click and save), but I've yet to do so. I don't know if you have to contact the artist first, or just go ahead and save them.

You might want to ask one of BioRust's moderators about that, such as Tamlin or Notjustgraphics. I'm sure they can help.

Yep, dewdman's right. If you want to save a texture or wallpaper, just click on the thumbnail in the Gallery to get the full-size version, then right-click and Save Image.

The images are saveable, and most users of the gallery are aware that stuff there is being offered for sharing one way or another, but please ask the owner especially if you have commercial interests in their piece especialy.
