heya dude, welcome to biorust. this seems to be a common place for noobs to be heading to. Very nice to have you here.

I would highly recommend that you start trying out all different types of graphic design before you set your heart on one and start learning it. Like try out 3d modelling, illustration, photography and all the others before.

If you want to play around with photoshop and just start a basic learning curve. I highly recommend that you look at this site.

this site taught me every thing i a noob lke me needed to know. also start buying magazines and start experimenting with the software it comes with. Also look at some really top notch site for insiration such as

http://www.cgtalk.com this place has some world class designers there. i wouldnt bother registering and showing off your work just yet. just wait about like four years like i am doing. Other wise you will be hammered into the floor by very good designers.


if you have any problems here we are more than happy to help. I do the 3d modelling side of things and sketching. M0g and every one else are very good at webdesign. Digital is our champion coder. Yuneek, S2f and evdawq are all pretty good at photoshop. Just hang out with us and have a good time.

I find that what helped me most to learn the basics was to start at www.spoono.com . It's chalk full of links to cool sites, which are chalk full of links to cool sites, which are chalk full of links to cool sites. Keep finding and reading/seeing what these sites have to offer.
