New at Biorust

Hi everyone. At first I want to tell you a bit how I ended up here. For about a week I've been searching a nice new community for me which would have a bit of programming too. Shiver7 was my "home" earlier but it has kinda died and I haven't been active there for a long time. I also spend my time in 3dattack.net but since that's pure Cinema4D community I wanted to find a new place to talk about some other stuff too.

At this point I started browsing affiliate lists of different websites and finally I ended up here. Wasn't the first time I saw Biorust and I've always loved the color scheme in here so I took a closer look. I really liked what I read and this seems like a nice place to be in so I registered. And here I am writing my first post. Now let me tell you a bit of myself so I won't be so stranger to you.

I'm 27 years old and I live in Finland so you have to excuse my english if it's a bit off sometimes. I've finished my studies and I graduated as a bachelor of business information technology at early 2004. After that I worked as a part-time web developer in a small local company. Now I've been working as a full-time web developer (doing asp.net and miscellaneous stuff) since november 2005. At my free time I code PHP with MySQL and try to develope my personal website at http://www.ifade.org. I just got v3 online but as you can see it's not 100% done yet. I also try to do some "art" but I don't have much time for it now. maybe once I get my website coded.

What comes to art I mainly work with cinema4d + photoshop. I'm not very good at either but I'm trying my best and I enjoy doing it. So you'll hear from me in the future and I'll try to dig up some "art" from my archives (if I have any left) for you to see. Nice to be here and I think I'll enjoy my stay a lot.

P.S. This message window as well as the icon window are stretching a bit too much to right so they go over the boundaries of the website.

She just put what I was about to say very succintly indeed.
So, I'll cut to the chase: We at BioRUST are a friendly lot, and hope that you, too, will keep the love flowing!

Nice to meet you Telos! I do try and keep BioRUST thriving and loaded with interesting content... although it can be a little difficult sometimes thanks to full time work... Still, many thanks for pointing out the problems with the layout. Can I ask what browser and resolution you use? This will help me pin down the problem a little better.

Firefox 1.5.0.1 with resolution 1024x768
I know how little time you must have after work and other stuff. At least I don't even near enough time what I would like to have. Just wanted to point out this bug.

Me too ...
Mac - Safari & Firefox - 1680 x 1050
For me it's the Smilies & Post Icon boxes (and large images within a post). And similar, but different for IE (Smilies box is ok, but the smilies are outside the box and over the edge).

Excellent! Thanks for pointing out these problems! I'll get on them soonish!

Update: All sorted now! I'm something of an old codger myself and don't use the WYSIWYG interface, hence missing it for so long! Anyway, its all sorted now. Let me know if you find further problems.
