Freehand work

okay this is about 50% complete. You can get a good idea of what it is going to look like. I just need some critics to help me steer this thing in the right direction, the face is fully complete, there is nothing i could really improve on it. I still need to detail up the legs and i shall throw in a few suprises for the dress

For a 50% complete piece its still remarkably well put together! I know you still have a lot of detailing to add, but I think its coming along nicely. Just as a general point, though, the ladies' eyes don't seem to have a very warming look to them. Its almost like a whithering gaze actually. Was this an intended effect?

No cornea? I am pretty sure that the cornea is transparent. I think you meant the iris.

its about 70% complete now. The girl is done. Nah showing underwear would have ruined this one, lol.

I'v done abit of tampering with the eyes, they look alot nicer now.

Ahhhh, looks good m8! The eyes are still a tad harsh, but i'm just nit-picking now. Its an impresive piece of vectoring work.

thanks for the input guys. This is my first attempt at a human vector and i'm pretty happy with it at the moment. I might just go back and correct the eyes and make some background, if i have the chance.

To actually get these things detailed, it takes such a long time, this one took 6 hours of constant work in freehand. If it was done in illustrator it would be much easier but i like freehand since it is pure vector work.

Bah, her right eye makes her look cross-eyed. I also think the hair could use more shades of brown instead of the three you have. Otherwise, it looks really nice Marc, but it's missing the underwear.

okay since people have been complaining about the hair and the eyes. I shal definatly go away and correct them by tomorrow. I am never happy with some thing until i have completely fixed the problems.
