Can I make a vector from a photoshop picture and how?

I'm new to illustraitor (becoming pretty fluent in photoshop, though), but I made a logo for a friendand want to figure out how to vectorize it. It's only two color if that helps anything.

you can vectorize anything! just depends on how long you want to take on it ;p
It would be helpful to post the logo you want vector so we can give you more detailed advice.

But I will post a quick demo on how I would vectorize a logo using live trace. Depending on how complex your logo is the easier it will be.
