Vector images are not well suited to displaying photo-quality images. Vector images are comprised of shapes of a solid color that make up an illustration type image. Bitmap or Raster images are comprised of individual pixels each with it's own color and transparency properties allowing for much more complex images and photographs.

Sorry to ruin your hopes and dreams.

Mike.

you can make it look like the orig if you use the Mesh Tool...check out google for tutorials...and there is a member who does it with the mesh tool...you can do it with the pen tool if you try; check out Soundrome.co.uk for vector art tutorial...try also melissaclifton.com...

Actually you can do a really great job of converting this to vector, but you can't do it with a click of a few buttons. it takes work. Drawing rectangles and paths then filling them. It's actually pretty easy to mimic photo-real art when tracing you jsut have to do it manually rather than the automated way.
