Vector Art Collections?

Hi everyone,
I can't believe how long it has been since I've been on the site. Amazing though how time can get away from you so quickly...

Anyway, I've been working on a project & need some help. Of course I thought of you first!! THere is no one more helpful!

My problem is this:

I want to add some decoration, ornamentation, basically some swirly things, on to my work & I have been trying to draw them myself in Illustrator. But I'm not very good at it & time is getting away from me fast. So, I thought, perhaps there is such a thing as a vector are collection. You know, like those clip art CDs that used to be everywhere.

Does anyone know if there is such a thing? But something modern & professional looking?

TIA,

Mini

There's loads of vector clip art available. Some free, some not, some good, some not so good. I typed "vector clip art" into Google and found dozens of pages.

Hi, yes thanks. I did find some. I just didn't know what to call it. I tried several searches and ended up with "vector art" & "vector clip art". I didn't find anything particularly interesting in terms of ornaments & scrolls etc.

If anyone has a specific recommendation I'd be very grateful.

Thnx.

Hi,
Thanks for the link. They have cute stuff, but right now I"m looking for something like here:
Ultimate Ornaments MEGA PACK
(scrolls &/or florals). I don't need the whole pack, and it's a bit expensive for my budget.
I just don't know how to draw them myself. I'm trying, but it is really taking too much time.

By the way, your design is really fab!

go to Download fonts | dafont.com and loko at the dingbats. you will find several of those styles in the dingbats. download them install the fonts and then you can type into illustrator. Highlight the text and convert to outlines.

Those type of graphics are strictly an artstyle and while anybody could probably do it with practice it is probably not very beneficial to have a tutorial on it.

Well if it is useless for you then there is no reason for you to go to the sites.
