Red face I'm needing help with drawing

I draw anime/manga, what ever you want to call it. I don't think I do it very good, but I am getting lots of compliments... I draw girls because they are easy to draw but I always do things wrong, like making the hips to wide, the thighs to thick or to far off, broad shoulders, thick arms, the *ehem* chest-torso >_> area is sometimes to far apart or to high, sometimes to low, and I can't draw feet OR hands, I can't put wrinkles in clothes, and my shading sucks. From my friends, I always hear "You draw good!" or "I wish I could draw as good as you!" They haven't seen anime or read manga, though. I wouldn't mind finding a tutorial on how to do a nice chibi. I even suck at those.

If somebody knows where I can get a nice tutorial on how to draw anime/manga, please tell me. I'd like to make something decent so I can scan and put it into Photoshop.

I'm scanning a few pictures in now, I'll take them into paint to circle my mistakes, people what I mean. did nicley, but it took 5 days. That's not including, school, homework, eating (unless I was also doing it, but I only ate and worked on it for an hour), sleeping, bathroom break, and not working on it. I still hate it, and I only sketched the head and randomly drew the neck to mid torso part. I don't have the notebook I used, but I've scanned it. So theres also other things I did. I have to finish scanning, though.
Ignore eraser marks, sketch lines, stray marks and notebook lines. On one picture, the lines are surrounded by some blue-ish grey color, and some lines don't show.

Try this site. Covers basic drawing and how to do many different anime/manga style drawing.

If the entire link does not work, enter the main URL www.emagister.com, and then register for the anime/manga section, it is free.

Hope it is helpful!!

You have not seen real anime or manga, have you? Compared to those, it looks like a piece of crud X_X

exactly, I'm standing with "o0Katie0o" compare your drawing to a real anime/manga figure, and it might solve the prob.

Oh ye of little patience. Practice, practice, practice, you will get there. Your work is already improving. Just work on it and you will get better.

Okay, no matter WHAT I try, I can not get the chest area on a female correct. Most turoials are like "Okay, now thw breat are going to be at a 45 degree angle from the centerline"
I CANNOT draw a 45 degree agnle, and the draw perfect circles, so it get annoy after a while. I might just draw stickfigures from now on X_X

Sounds like you might be a teeny bit frustrated. First, take a step back, deep breathe, or whatever you have to do to calm yourself. Your drawing will reflect your mood whatever that happens to be. If you are feeling insecure, uncertain, your drawing will show that mood.

I have some more sites for you to take a peek at; some of them focus entirely on full form, others on various aspects as well as full form. The one common thread you will find at each one of them is that this is not something you master overnight.

If I am understanding you correctly, what you are really having trouble with is the creation as a female, making the shape appear like a woman, is that correct? If so, some of these sites deal with that aspect. The angle of the chest area does depend on how you have her placed. But, of course I know that you know that. What I am saying is look at what you are doing again. Is the figure turned slightly? Shoulders too broad to support the hips? That kind of thing. Play around with it, see what happens.

Okay, sites I promised are listed below. Remember what I said---it will come to you.---bedlam123
