problems opening files once I've closed application

I'm using Adobe cs and when I closed down and try to reopen the file I get this:


Can't open the illustration. The illustration does not have the correct number of operands for an operator.
Offending operator: ","
Context:
%(A4) /String (/attributes/ppr.nmae),
%/Real(/attributes?ppr.image.bottom),

any ideas what I can do

I don't use Illustrator, so I can't be sure but, looking at " Offending Operator: "," ", it seems that you may have, inadvertantly, put a comma somewhere in the filename and Illustrator doesn't want to recognise it. If it's there, change or remove the comma.
If that's not the problem, I'm sure someone who uses Illutrator may have an idea.
