Html 5

Hello BioRUST,

Has anyone taken a look at HTML5?

So, what do you think? Are you impressed with the revamp of HTML? What features are you most excited about? Which features do you not like?

Canvas is going to change the face of the web... no more Flash plug in.

Other than that... nothing very exciting.

Note: For those that didn't know, Google Wave is built in HTML 5.

Well that's a Google app, not HTML 5.

As for HTML 5 the only REAL breakthrough is Canvas. Everything else is just a new way of doing something you can already do. Sure the new methods are improved, but they don't make possible what is impossible now, Canvas does.

@smw: Canvas (HTML element) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

@Jolt: I understand where you are coming from, but I'm personally pretty excited about the advancements to semantic markup.
