Smile scrollbar in a frame

Hi everyone,

I need help with a problem I'm experiencing and I have no clue with this is... It's probably very basic for you guys...

So, there it goes. My website is based on a frameset. On the main frame, I have set the scrolling to Auto. When the content of the frame is less than a page, it doesn't display any scrollbar, just as I want. But when the content is longer, a scrollbar appears on the right hand-side (which is fine), but there is also an horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of my frame that appears. I don't see why, since the text is set to "Justify" and the size of the frame is also automatic.

Is there any way to force the scrolling to be only vertical and not horizontal? If not, any idea why I get a scrollbar at the bottom as well?

Many thanks in advance for your brilliant suggestions

This seems to answer your question (you need to read the whole thread):

Remove horizontal scrollbar on frames

Thanks Tamlin for the two useful links. Iknew that frames are not recommended, but I'm developping a small personal site which will contain very few pages and it seemed to me the easiest way (I don't want to spend too much time on it).
As for the fix, it works! Thank you so much! I had guessed it was an IE bug because I couldn't reproduce it on Firefox, but that didn't help me much Thank you again.
