Exclamation <Input></Input> | Opacity issue...

I'm having a trouble with making my textbox transparent. Yes, -moz-filter makes the textbox transparent but it makes whatever text is inside the textbox transparent also. Is there a way to make the textbox transparent and not the text inside? I want to have a custom textbox, I was thinking about putting the transparent textbox over an image of a textbox. :P Thanks

You can do it with CSS - Maybe this will help:

Thank you very much. I appreciate the quick response. :]

P.S
I have not actually tested anything on either of the links yet. I will in a bit, I'll get back to you afterwards...

Unfortunately, it did not work. Can you explain to me how to make custom input boxes? As done on this page: Planet Renders v3 I would really appreciate it. If you look at their source code, they use <input> to make the textboxes, located at the top of the page.

EDIT:
Nevermind for now, I've found a tutorial that may help me accomplish my goal. =]

If you take a look at their .css sheet you'll find the code they used for their input boxes.

How did the tutorial work out?

I do not believe (and i could be wrong) that it is possible to have a transparent input with non-transparent text.

The fix for this problem with div.elements was to layer divs, but that is not possible with the input of a text box. You could likely getting a very complex javascript/layer solution to work, but the example at Planet Renders v3 simply uses background images and a hover state... no transparency.

This help at all?

Mike.
