horizontal scrollbar in iframe problems

Hi Peeps,

I read thru marlboro man's post about scrolling tables. It was somewhat helpful.

I've gotten my iframes with text to work fine, as designed. Now i'm going for a thumbnail-with-text-description-in-an-iframe type subnav and it's not coming out right.

IE6 keeps putting that horizontal scrollbar in, just a little bit.

My iframe content is 228 px or less. The iframe I'm loading it into is 228 inside of:

a div, slightly larger: doesnt work
a table cell, same or slightly larger: doesnt work

what am i missing? i've set the body attributes to

topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0"

made sure the same in iframe atts...

any help would be appreciated

I don't know if this is gonna work cause I've never tried it with frames:

<frame style="overflow-x: hidden;"></frame>

This works with divs so it should work with frames too as they are practically the same...

I dunno if this will work, I had the same problem with IE, but on Mozilla, Netscape and FireFox it looked good, it seems that M$ doesn't like to code using the web standards...

However, I have not tried this, and I will once I get my small design re-done...
