NEED DIV-tutorial

I need a div tutorial, so i can start learning it!
I need a tutorial to know how i can put text in a image
-without any programs or kinda stuff! (ok, if its frontpage its OK or photoshop is OK too)-
i made by myself , for an example this:

Not sure what you mean by a "div tutorial"?

Are you referring to CSS which uses <div></div> tags to apply formating rules?

As for putting text in an image, if you don't need to do it dynamically (changing on the fly) then photoshop is your best bet by far!

If you need to have the text changing at different times, then you'll have to use a <div> with a background image, and place your text over top... but then you will be limited to the 4 main font families!

Ok... I THINK i need a tutorial with a image as BG (div) but i dont know how to do this, and in what parts i need to cut and .. =S I just have a image, and i would like to put text in the main/navigation with DIV-layers

if that's the case, then I would research W3Schools Online Web Tutorials css Zen Garden: The Beauty in CSS Design


but incase you don't want to do the legwork, here's a helpful site incase you just want a template to best suite your layout.
