This isn't really about websit reviews but does anyone know where i can sign up for a FREE shout box or tag board etc. other than http://www.tag-board.com.

Yeah, but try to avoid the one from Webfroot - its got more holes in it than a swiss cheese factory...

m0g, why did you use webfroot in the first place? Webfroot was the shoutbox for v2 right?

I have seen the code, I know it is full of holes, why do you think I always write my own, it is easier that way, plus a lot more customizable.

Yeah, m0g probably customized it quite a bit.

Well, it was the webfroot one originally but, as many other people have stated, I altered the code substantially to suit my own ends.

There's an excellent one called Fusion Shoutbox, which I've used in the past. It's not very secure though - for some reason my Apache wasn't dishing out cookies properly, so I tried to hack my way into the admin control panel. It took less than a minute.

I tend to shy away from control panels myself. A nice database and phpmysql is all I need...
