hey ppl, i have designed a palm pilot interface and its 95% working but its quite a problem. this is an email to Man1c Mog but he told me to post it here so disreguard any comments directing him because i didnt feel like editing the email, so just read on and please try to help me.

iam using PHP technology and am using the <? include ($page) ?> command to include my pages in the link to extend the content.
that works fine and everything and the main content extends fine and the images are changed to backgrounds so there wouldnt be any overlapping.
However this makes a huge problem for my 2 expansion slots on the right and left of the palm. you see i have those two expansion slots, as 2 images because i want to put content in them. so i go back to ImageReady and slice a little area that i will later change to a background to put content. i go to FRONTPAGE and change that area inside the expansion slot to a background to put the content. Now i put my content in the area and when i have a big page with a lot of content that extends from the middle (the palm) the expansion image tends to extend as well and it overlaps. Now i have 2 of them one on the left and one on the right. The one on the right is suppose to be my shoutbox but then again it will also extend along with the main content.
the problem is that i dont want them to extend with the main content. i just want them to stay idle next to the main interface (the palm) and for the palm only to extend. I couldnt find out a way to do it but i tried the best i can. i can to one solution to the problem but it consisted of everything extending and everytime i put content in the expansion slot it overlaps the main interface so that didnt work to well.
So i want to know how to keep them idle and not extending meanwhile having content in the 1 expansion slot and a shoutbox in the other. I felt puzzeled because i seen your site and your shoutbox is totally aside from ur main content and doesnt extend with it. so there is one question that i must ask , HOW DID YOU DO IT, u brilliant man u. your main content extends perfectly without no problems and aside u have the shout box all by itslef idle.
