HELP - Stuck in stasis PHP knowledge 1%
Hi, I'm a graphics person and I want to create a cool website could anyone please help me in PHP for I only know 1% as of yet and dont know which path to take, I've tried CMS but I think making your own is the best. Still I'm lost my situation is this I've already created a graphical look of my site and I can slice it make operational but am constricted to using HTML and JS for I know little but I want to use the power of PHP and its cool features I've tried self-studying but I'm going nowhere in learning. All I want is to have a:
-flash/graphics intensive pages <--- this is all I can do, below I'm stone-aged
-member login/logout on everypage, once logged an avatar and basic info replaces login area/box (like on this site)
-download section for members (upload for members too)
-integrated forum only for members (maybe integrate SMF)
-news/articles, news/articles comment(s/ing) only for members
-board list on mainpage
-new download list on mainpage
-recent whatever list on mainpage
-pic gallery viewable to all but can be used only by admins
How can I do this? Which things do I need to download or whatever any help would be very much appreciated. Which path to take??
