Invision Integration

Good God, it's been a long time since I was last here. *waves to all*

Well, I've finally persuaded the Garjen webmaster to let me overhaul the forums - as you can see they desperately need it. We've decided to go for Invision, as he's used it before and likes the admin controls... perhaps not the best criteria for choosing a forum, but there we go.

As I'm remaking the site at the same time, and need to include a membership system, it would obviously be nice if that could integrate with Invisions membership system. I've tried the obvious, but all Google brings back are forums upon forums, as they all have the word 'Invision' in them. As I am loathe to spend time working it out manually and then bugfixing it all, since the answer's already out there somewhere, so I'll put the question to the masses; has anyone, in their Internet travels, met any resource sites that could help with such a task? Many pre-emptive thanks.

In short, you want a tutorial or something to make Invision Boards get along with a website's membership system?

Indeed. It needs to be able to authenticate the user from their cookie or session, and also share registration features, although I may have to settle for bumping the user to the Invision registration page.

Talking Invisionize

I myself used Invision 1.1-1.3 Final, and have tried to find any and all the hack/addon sites I could. Most of the good ones have long since closed, but this one is pretty good. Just pick your forums version, and look through the Website Intregration forum for the scripts you need.
