First things first. Take a look at this template I made a few days ago. Read each content box and i'm sure you understand my problem.

If this link doesn't work. Please PM me.

I thought I was an xpert with html until I decided to start learning the process of making templates, lol. Also please note that I use Dreamweaver for all my template/HTML projects.

Aha, you've used Imageready haven't you? The simple explanation is that Imageready has generated you some very messy HTML in which all the cells across are part of the same table, so when you expand one box down, the others will follow. The solution is simple - manually re-create the centre bit so that you have three main columns, each with separate tables containing the side cells, main cells, etc. Its hard to explain... and I could undoubtedly do this FOR you in less than 20 mins... but you'd learn nothing, and that wouldn't help you too much in future projects.

Yes, I used ImageReady for this, is this something that I shouldn't do in future projects?.. or is there a way around this in ImageReady.

It would pry take me the rest of the day (about 4 hours) to get this fixed if I did it manually, and thats with trial and error of course.

It would be a lot easier if I could just fix this crap with Dreamweaver, lol.

I dont know any way around this in Imageready i'm afraid. Its a limitation of automatic programs I guess...

it is a problem of most any program that generates html, dreamweaver does an ok job, but there are still limits..

HTML can be tricky when you tables, however once you have the basic principals they become really simple.

It is not.. HTML is one language that should be learned manually... it will prove to be extremely useful.
