Freshman
That's right, today was my 3rd day out of homeschooling and as a freshman.
I'm doing great, much happier person, got my classes changed today, here they are:
Old ones:
Graphic Design
Math
English
Biology
New ones:
Graphic Design
Math
Psychology
Biology
Hopefully soon:
Graphic Design
Math
Psychology
IEP
It's cool, I have girls all over me, tons of new friends, being social - not being bored all day - just awesome.
Can't complain, high school is cool even though I should be in 10th. Hopefully next year I'll go to 11th.

IEP, I know what paperwork that is, but I am not sure you would consider it a class.. I know that IEP stands for Individual Education Plan, used as a form of Special Education, so the school district can't interfere if you need help.. I had one for three years..
IEP is what class, if it is class.. ?!?

I'd have to say the worst year in high school is 11th, the Junior Pain in the Ass year. Luckily I have passed that and becoming a senior. Life is so sweet. And why do you have so few classes? Back in my day, I had like 7 classes a day. Grrr. The only thing stopping me from killing myself is the weekly druggings...I mean...Super Happy Fun Time Hour.
My Day:
AP English IV
Senior Seminar(college preparation crap)
AP Government
AP Physics
Ditigal Video
Debate/Ethics
AP Computer Science
Anyway, good luck on your new year.

We have 4 100 minute blocks, which you usually have a change every 9 weeks. Don't know, just how it's done.

Man when I went to school we had all the boring classes. The newest class was 'British Literature' and that was soo avant garde.
I remember distinctly not wanting AP classes because the work load was too much and I didn't care about grades, I made As anyway.
I was such an underacheiver. I regret many choices back then.
However, I like where I am now, and regret is useless.
I envy the nice classes you guys are able to take.

ahahahahah you guys all suck,
I have been out of school for a very very long time. I dont ever have to worry about maths, english, science and any of that bollocks. All i do now is graphic design, mainly illustration and some basic 3d.
My life is so sweet

There is one thing that school does do, if you listen to what is said.
Without school, you lose many aspects of life, at least here in the United States.. in school you learn how to achieve a job (I did not learn this through school, and I wish I did), you learn how to interact with others in a professional manner, and several other social interaction behaviours..

we never learn any of that stuff order. We are taught a set syllabus and we dont get advice on how to do job interviews etc because we finish high school at 16. It is then expected of us to do college and uni later on.

My Gen Ed classes in college werent too bad:
Psychology
Algebra
English 1 and 2
Sociology
Computer Applications
Art History
They traded out our business class for art history, which sucked ass. I mean dont get me wrong art history is important, but being educated in how to run a business takes precadence over history.
