Favorite brand of headphones

I am looking for a new pair of very expensive headphones. My favorite brand of all time has got to be sennheiser (Dr Fritz is/was a god) i am wanting to know what all you guys have?

My last pair of sennheisers have just broken, which has pissed me off but i wanted to change them soon anyways.

So what would you lot recommend.

Sennheisers, undoubtedly. They may be hideously expensive, and require you to save up your pennies, but they are worth it! They can also go as high-end as you are willing to pay. Just check out their glass + wood earphones with PERFECT sound reproduction up to 120db. Its just £10k for the priviledge of owning them too! (around $18k).

Yeah i agree sennheisers are the dogs boll*cks of headphones. I used to have a pair of Dj ones. I think i may get the version up from the ones i got about two years ago. They cost about £150. It was well worth it though.

Bollocks, if you want hearphones, it's AKG all the way. Sennheiser is OK, I got a few pairs just over on the floor, but AKG is the only real brand if you want proper sound. But as you said, Sennheiser is fine for home use.

I got my fathers old ones back from his college, so from about 1970s (old soviet tech). Surprisingly they work a whole damn better then the plastic ****e they sell out in electronics stores. Russian stuff rules
