Cake!?! So sad I missed it!
I've been traveling with a friend who is shooting a documentary. I've been taking the stills for him.....which gave me a chance to shoot some photos for myself. It has been fun.

nah you missed nothing really. I was also away for a week but nothing also happened then.
This place is starting to get a bit more active now which is a good thing.

Nice to meet you Lexi, I joined the community while you were gone.
I am envious of your opportunity!! I am an amateur photographer -- I would really love to see your work!
What format do you use? Traditional or Digital? What sort of Camera?
I'd love to get my hands on Canon's new Digital SLR, but I can't fork up the grand to buy one
Anyway, welcome back!

There was a logoi competition you might've missed. Other than that its been quiet around here. Sounds like a good chance that Lexi, welcome back

Nice to meet you Runecaster! I have an old Yashika medium format camera (traditional SLR) that I really love. Recently, I have been playing around with my new Fuji Finepix s7000 (Digital SLR/EVF). I would like to have actually bought the next step up which is in their professional line, but like you didn't have the $$$ to shell out. By buying the s7000, I was able to afford the multiple lenses I wanted.
