Hi, Luckily my husband pays most of the actual bills, I just have to pay for the food, gas, entertainment, pet food, son's dates and clothes...Damn, no wonder I never get to have any fun! Actually at the moment and past 16 years at least I have been cleaning houses, I have enough work to have my neice working with me now. Personally I am ready to stop except I really love some of my "family" They treat me more like I'm family than my own family and I always feel loved and apprecciated and that's better than money in my book.
While cleaning I also did detail painting for a company called Ladies and Friends who made these wood dolls called Lizzie High dolls. I painted all the cats, sleds, bowls etc that went with the dolls. It got old after 15 years and I finally couldn't work two jobs and raise my family so thank goodness I quit. It did keep my hand painting which I am grateful for. It also allowed me to be home with my two boys which meant the world to me. I would be cursing at the end of the week after getting up at 6 to take care of my kids, my husband came home at 7 or 8 and took over the kids and I would work from 8:30 to 3 a.m. and start all over at 6. Somewhere in those years I also started my cleaning business. I have no idea how I ever survived.
I also worked for a cookie cutter making place running machines that bent the cookie cutters. I designed a nativity scene for them that I believe they still produce. I will still have occassional nightmares that my husband gets me my job back. I can't talk to him the rest of the day after that ! Ha Ha.
My husband just quit his job a year ago (without telling me till 2 weeks after he quit) and started his own Airconditioning and Heating company and starting to do very well. If he does good enough I would like to get more training for the computer and maybe get into painting portraits or something on the computer.

Yeah - it's a shame you can't stick spammers' heads up on spikes over the city gates, like in the good old days - but apparently it's "illegal" or something...

Damn rollhard, How old are you Now?
Most of my career was working in the Nutrition and Dietetics Dept of a Prestigious Medical School in San Francisco= UCSF. as a manager. Far cry from the mid-60s living in Greenwich Village dreaming of fame and fortune as a painter. Don't get me wrong. I'm loving the way my life is turning out.
Pension and Social Security BARELY pays the bills.
Wife is an RN studying Homeopathy and we are planning to move to the countryside and open a Consulting business.
Or not

Interesting
Well i'm an electrical technician , currently working for a Institue for Techinicians leading to Eng. preparing stuff for students practical assignments ( sometimes to scare them ) and i do a part time job in electrical servicing in domestic house.
My passion for photography is just my hobby and willing to learn more about it. I also wish to have more time to learn both the art of photography and photoshop.
