Never heard of them myself... but if its metal then I expect my housemate will start playing it soonish (He's just bought the new Apollyon Sun album and is giving it LOTS of airtime...).

Heard of Pantera- I cut their logo out once for Art.. As for In Flames its not the sort of name I'd remember

In Flames rock indeed. Although you get tired of them after some time. Pantera, however, simply rock heavily

yes in flames rock the **** out of any other band i know, there music is excellent.

Pantera are good but they just dont have the edge, in my opinion.

I prefer soft and melodic music like interpol.

I'm more into heavy industrial-style music myself, and even a little Dust music. Examples of bands I admire: Funker Vogt, VNV Nation, Apoptygma Bezerk, Chemical Bros (Biorust was very nearly called Khemikal.com ).

heh heh,
My kind of bands are The Eagles, Smash Mouth, Reel Big Fish, Hoobastank, Robbie Williams, MetallicA and Save Ferris. Oh and No Doubt and the Aquabats- And most importantly-- Flaw! Simply the best band I've heard

Sweet. I dont mind the Eagles, I was raised to that music. Metallica Kicks ass, and in my opinion, Pantera is the greatest metal band of all time. In Flames is my favorite band though right now. I change alot

You know I might have to search for music by Paneta and InFlames just to see what they are like.. I tend to use Peer2peer to download some songs. I listen to them and if I like them enough I'll buy an album otherwise I just delete the songs. I don't have Sky or nothing so I can't watch bands on TV like some people...... I was brought up on Meatloaf, Billy Joel, The Eagles and MetallicA and I love all of them equally- lol

may be a little off the metal topic here but i just heard the asian dub foundation, and they seem pretty sweet.

As for metal i think massive attack is also a great band that needs some more poeple to look into it.

Flaws not bad, I found to be a lot like Killswitch Engage (andother great band, same style as In Flames), And for those of you who like Metallica, check out the band called Testament
(www.testamentlegions.com). i would suggest other bands, I only listen to 4 or 5
(Slayer, In Flames, Pantera, Metallica) and some other ones I enjoy but dont actually get really into.
