InDesign Issues...

InDesign keeps crashing. I think its the fonts.
We just upgraded to the latest and greatest MAC OS.

Since then Helvetica is a constant issue.

The other issue since the upgrade is eps files crashing inDesign.

Guh!

Sorry to sound like a complainer. Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues.

Hi lohkistudio:

I don't use InDesign or a Mac, but I found this which may help you: Crash, freeze, or unexpected shutdown while you work in InDesign CS2 (Mac OS and Windows)

It suggests assorted solutions for this problem for both Windows and Macs.

For some reason Macs don't seem to like programs when you first install then, I had a ton of problems with Illustrator and the pathfinder tool for CS2 when I first installed it. After doing work arounds, for a while it magically stopped happening. Macs are funny that way but it's like they need to stabilize, once thats done you hunky dory. Hopefully those work arounds that Tamlin posted help, if not keep googling different forums, and ALWAYS save often!
