Wrong thread. :/ As I said in the proper thread, though, this is nothing to do with forcing people. It just acts as a throttle to stop people downloading the entire resource at once (and trust me, there are idiots who do this), and using our entire bandwidth allowance in a single day.
If you (or anyone else) can find a cheap and fast service for hosting files with unlimited bandwidth I'd be more than happy to use it and trash the credits system. Just as an indication, the bandwidth i'd be using for an unlimited service would be between around the 2Tb per month mark.
