Geocaching

Just curious if anyone here does it? A friend just suggested my wife and I look into it and we're on the verge of picking up a GPS to give it a try. Looks like fun.

For those that are confused at this point, basically Geocaching is like a worldwide search for hidden cahces which other geocachers plant. The only way to find them is with a GPS (or I suppose old maps and compasses could work too).

I'll keep you guys posted if we take the plunge and drop the $200 for the GPS we want... Fortunately my wife has a bonus coming that might make it possible...

I've been doing it for a couple months. It's quite fun and challenging. Geocaching is like a real-world treasure hunt! Challenging at first and rewarding when you actually find the cache!
