Andy:

I don't want to be a wet blanket, but some of those "free" fonts are technically only "free for non-commercial use". If you're making and selling flyers with them, that would be classed as "commercial use", and thus (technically) contravene the terms of use.

Have a read of this: http://forums.biorust.com/general-di...html#post39980 (Font Packages)

Just something to think about...

i'll keep that in might, never really thought of that,in the link you gave someone said about font packages and them being $5,000 did i read wrong,i could'nt afford that,it's just doing flyers and the nature of a quick turnaround that club promotors like doing, puts me off asking fo their input as most just want a flyer for the night and not really bothered about the work that goe's into it,some say i've seen this font and i like it and i just get it maybe i should put a ready made charge for the font into the price.i would like to pay the person that made the font,i might do from now.

unlesh:na i just asking about cool free fonts thaks anyway

wolly:cheers for them their pretty cool

Hey Andy!

Yes, a decent font packages can cost you upwards of $5000 u.s.

An example is Adobe Font Folio which the full package runs $4999...
https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/sto...ions/FontFolio

You can also buy font packages from many font foundries as well as individual fonts or font families.

Some of the more popular ones are:

ITC: ITCFonts.com
Linotype: Download fonts from classic to cool - Linotype.com and of course
Adobe Type: Adobe Fonts

Also, MyFonts is a conenient place to find commercial fonts from multiple foundries... Find, try, buy and download fonts online : MyFonts

These two places have lots of links to other foundries as well:

Font Foundries : MyFonts
Font Foundries, Type Foundries, Commercial Fonts, Font Resources, Typefaces, Free, Programs - Fonts, Website Tips, Websitetips.com

Lots of font info for your fancy! ( a little allitteration never hurt anyone)

Mike.
