Favorite Artist / Favorite Art Piece

I'm curious, who's your favorite artist or what is your favorite or most memorable art piece on BioRust?

Please include a link to the users gallery of the art piece you have chosen as your favorite/memorable and share your thoughts about the artist in general as well if desired.

This will give people an opportunity to see art they may have missed in the past and to get to know the community better.

You are encouraged to share your thoughts on more than one artist/piece if need be.

As for myself, one of the memorable pieces I really enjoy is Tamlin's "Introducing Mr. Sleuth". Everything from the textures right down to the character's style of clothing is what makes this piece really stand out.

Personally, I'd love to have this piece framed and on my wall.

Another artist I really enjoy that is very unique is Xiaobaosg. The art in this users gallery is simpy amazing, offering refreshing color and tone with an eastern flavor as the mood. While I don't have a favorite piece, the all around atmosphere in this gallery is very nice.

Of course, I have more than just two artists whom I appreciate, but I'm trying to keep this short as I didn't see a "novel" section in the forums, heh.

Enjoy!

Ahhh...so many to choose from...

The two main sections I favour are Photography (because it's what I do) and 2D Artwork (because it's what I wish I could do). I don't want to pick out any particular piece, so here are the galleries:

Gawd, Tamlin, you posted enough links to keep me busy for the next five years!

Glad you did though, there's a lot I've missed.

Thanks for the heads up, link master!

Seeing as you wrote the novel I didn't get to, here's even more of some happening artists.

This is one of my favs from Chica-X: http://forums.biorust.com/photopost/...0&ppuser=32298

This is my all-time favorite piece from Mishelly: http://forums.biorust.com/photopost/...l&ppuser=41376

And another from LaFleureRouge: http://forums.biorust.com/photopost/...3&ppuser=40249

I haven't kept really good track of what I like, but I am posting here to remind myself to take a free minute to get the links out here.

Gosh! Thanks Tamlin and I thought my pics were mediocre compared to many pics I see on here. I look at the talent on BioRust and am amazed how we humans can be so creative. Which I think contradicts the way we can be so destructive. There is so much talent here to pic out one would be very difficult I shall have to spend a few days pondering on that one. But, my favourite artist would have to be Turner.
