I thought these might be handy if you are looking for a web album software to download onto a website....

This is my personnel favourite
JAlbum - the free web photo album software and photo gallery software

My website has mainly used the jalbum...
e.g. Flora

There is still plenty out there free, but these I know.

I am a fan of the JAalbum also
I love that it creates easy thumnails and also automaticaly resizes images to store on your computer..
make organising and quick viewing easy, not to mention the easy web share.
