Help Me Name My Son...

My wife and I are set to have a new baby by the end of February and we've narrowed names down to 4. Please vote and let me know what you think.

"Hrobak" is a very unusual name - where does that come from?

PS: I voted for Brady.

Hrobak is actually my mother's maiden name. It's polish (well polish to the extent that it was changed when my great grandparents came in through Ellis Island). It used to be Khrobak (pronounced Row-back).

A long story short is that that there were no male Hrobaks left to pass on the name so my mom gave it to me as a middle name. I thought I would do the same if I ever had a son.

This is rather amusing to see the differences, we sent a poll out to friends and family and Luca has gotten most of the votes... it's more balanced on here so far and the ones with low to no votes in the other poll seem to be doing well here.

Go with Luca! More interesting then Brady.

As for the Polish thing my middle names are Ryzard and Rannan. Fun fun fun when it come to people spelling my name (surname is Brokman)

My vote is for brady.... I do like Micah (my name is Michael) but I know a girl named Micah so I have the pre-disposition that it is a girls name...

Just my 2 cents!

Congrats on the whole baby thing though!

Mike.

I'm the mad person with 9 kids, and I tend to look at a childs initials when their names are put together.

B. H. S. ( in britain this stands for british home stores)
N. H. S. (in britain this stands for national health service)
M. H. S. I have no prob with but I think michael has a point as I know a female named Micah.
so I voted for Luca or Lucas ( my son is called Lucas ) because I like the way the initials go together L. H. S. told you I was mad

All names are nice...but my 9 year old son is called Lucas so i will vote that one. I just think Lucas is more international than the others.
Don't forget the birth announcement.
Congrats

I would vote for Michael (if it were a choice here) because it was always a favorite of mine. Micha to me doesn't flow with your last name.
Of all choices, I vote for Lucas. That one i think flows well even with the shortened version of "Luc". Thats my 2 cents!!
Have a happy, healthy baby stiney. Congratulations
