Xmas Message

In a few hours time I'll be aboard a plane to Lanzarote, so I'd just like to take this opportunity to wish everyone at BioRUST an enjoyable Christmas, Eid ul-Fitr, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, Winter Solstice, Saturnalia, Lenaia, or whatever midwinter festival you choose to celebrate - or even if you prefer, like me, to leave the country until the whole thing is over and done with for another year (bah humbug etc. etc.).

I'll be back on 28th December. As they say in Lost - see you on the other side...

OK, I'm back now, so stop breaking all those rules!!

Actually, I think I'll be quite busy over the next few days - I've got all those unread BioRUST posts to catch up on, and 234 photographs to sort through to see if any are worth posting here!

Jimbo: luckily, I wasn't flying from Heathrow. The vile English weather did try its best to stop me leaving the country, but I escaped eventually.

ecntrc: Lanzarote is one of the Canary Islands - part of Spain, but situated about 100km off the West coast of Africa. The Canaries are a group of volcanic islands, so the landscapes are amazing (as I hope to demonstrate shortly...)
