Fonts

I don't know if these sites have been shown before but here is the link anyway to my site that links onto other sites. The Font Garden is lovely site with unusual fonts. Enjoy

Hey - you can never have enough fonts! (Well, technically I suppose you can, but you know what I mean...)

As you say you can never have enough fonts. I keep my fonts down to a healthy minimum and if I need to look up some more I use 'The Font Thing'

It is a good piece of software, unless anyone else has a good font organiser?

I just downloaded The Font Thing. Not had much of a chance to try it out yet, but it seems to be better than my current font manager. I like the way you can select multiple fonts and view samples of them side-by-side. Good stuff!

I've heard of it before, just recently(after you post) downloaded it. It's indeed way better then the font manager i had.....So now i should thank you twice once for the font manager and the second on is for the fonts you "provided"!!

So many thanks for that,

Nothing says "thank you" like some positive reputation points (unless it's a diamond ring, I suppose )

Got a font you don't know the name of?

Try the font identification tool at Identifont - Identify fonts by appearance, find fonts by name

Used it lots, me like.

Also found Fontscape - typeface directory usefull, sorted by application

I am a certified font addict and have over 30,000 fonts (commercial and non-commercial use) Of course they are not all installed but they are all aorted into specific files and I use The Font Thing! It's wonderful and I highly recommend it!

Nifty tool you found, however, while testing it I discovered that it can have problems with complex images like This one
