Tablet or Mouse?

my wireless optical mouse is nice, I honestly don't see how it could get much better...

I've been using mouse for painting since my first computer when I was a kid. I dont have problem using mouse to draw. But it can be painfully slow. One painting could take up a day to finish.

Someone's planning to buy me a Wacom for Christmas' present so I'm looking forward to experience a tablet.
