Maybe, im a bit stupid, if you could give me the full names i can help you....but at this moment i consider "mcse, ccna, ocp" as different banana brands

Send a message via MSN to notjustgraphics
Unleash:

MCSE = Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
CCNA = Cisco Certified Network Associate (I believe)
OCP = Oracle Certified Professional

All of these are manufacturer's certifications and in my experience and opinion, have much less value in the real world then "they" would have you believe. (You're not far off with "Banana Brands" lol)

Very few employers that I've encountered give much weight to them when considering a candidate. For those who operate their own business, they may dazzle your potential clients but not much more than that.

As for price... I can buy a harvard degree for $69.95... doesn't mean I learned anything there.

Mike.

Double posts with nothing to do with graphics.

I've removed the duplicate post.

Re. certificates: As someone who occasionally interviews prospective candidates for IT-related jobs, I have to agree with Mike. Certificates are nice to frame and put on your wall to give you a sense of achievement, but most employers value experience over paper qualifications every time.
