computing problem - No Web Pages displaying

Hi, i am having trouble with my wireless home network which has been set up for around 2 weeks and now unfortunately is not working on my 2nd computer. My main computer is working fine as i am using it now, but my 2nd one will not display any web pages. Windows detects my wireless connection as being connected as good but there are no pages being loaded. The 2nd computer runs from my wireless router which is an always on connection. I have tried almost every seting under the properties of the connection but no luck i have even reset the whole pc to how it was when i first bought it but also no luck. I am running windows xp and have all the latest drivers installed for my wireless pci internal card. I have no idea at all what is wrong, im just very confused as it connects to my network fine but displays no pages. I just hope form this information someone will be able to direct me to fixing it.

Yep, or the problem can also by that your computer sees another "dead" connection as the main connection.....So it try's to load pages trough a connection that isn't there...

i think you should ask the company where you bought your router what the problem is, they got more experience whit this kind of questions.

I suggest you to check your antivirus programs ...They can cause problems most of the time

Thanks for all your replies. I dont think it can be anything to do with virus programs as ive reset the pc to when it was first bought (cleared the hard drive) and this still didnt work ive disabled all firewalls and that didnt work either but there as a connection i have which is not connected. It is named something like local area connection 1 and is an ethernet, but as i am using wireless it has a big red cross. Ive tried removing hte drivers for this connectiion and it dissapears from the connections menu so then i jsut have the wireless conection there but stil no pages are displayed. Also once i restart the pc winodws reinstalls the device? I just cant understand it, im certain the ethernet connection was there before it stopped working?

Thanks for the offer but somehow ive fixed it, I just reset the router to factory settings and put in my isp details, it didnt work at this point so i messed around with the wireless settings within the router and hey presto it worked.
