icon sites ?
my friend have recomended me to get icons from icongold.com. anyone have any expeirence with this site. the icons look quite good. Please let me know before i shell out $39. thank you in advance

I have no experience with icongold.com but I have grabbed free stuff from Leo's Icon Archive - 10,000+ free icons, desktop icons, clip art, cartoons, buttons before.

You can also get some real nice icons from Pixelgirl Presents Free Icons, Desktops and Gallery Shop!

There is also a list of free icon sites available @ http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Grap...s_and_buttons/

With so many free icons available, i'd never pay $39.00 - worst case (or best case maybe) i'd just design my own.

What do you need the icons for? There are a lot of really talented designers here who might enjoy taking a stab at creating what you need...

It might even make an interesting battle...
