Color Theory & Color Wizard

Once again thanks to FireFox's StumbleUpon plug-in I came accross a very useful website to share with all! This site has a lot of good info about color theory, combining colors, color schemes etc. But the best feature is this Color Wizard... This is a great tool even if you had some schooling in color theory... Now if they could only develop something like this for matching fonts, I could rule the design world!! Well, not really.

Colors on the Web - Color Theory for web designers - the color wizard generates great color schemes

Another excellent find! I've seen other similar sites, but none that are as comprehensive as this one. Good job!

Wow, thanks for the link...

I used to use ColorBlender.com | Your free online color matching toolbox but I'm going to spend some time @ C.O.W.

Thanks!

Mike.

Hi, thanks for the tip. I also like Color Schemer | Create matching color schemes at the click of a buttonfor quickly finding a scheme I like and want to try. This looks much easier and I can't wait to try it out. Thanks!

Hey Foggyrain...

I too am fond of Color Shchemer, but I just recently removed it from my system since I found ColorBlender.com | Your free online color matching toolbox duplicated much of if not all of it's functionality and didn't take up much of my computer's resources....

I found it was very useful for creating themes and saving them for use on later projects... It's individual color control is superior to the online services but I seldom need that much power to choose colors...

I've kept the install file and still have it on my laptop...

It's nice to see great tools put to use!

Mike.
