When someone stole your designs ...

Today I went googling and to my horror, I found few of my graphic designs in few blogs. Most of them are my old graphic designs and comic illustrations for college portfolio. One blog also ripped my forum avatar and siggy.

In a way I know it could be seen as a compliment to see your designs across the net. But not when these blogs urging visitors to use my designs and avatar for free without my permission. To add the worst, few of these bloggers claimed they designed my stuff.

Anyways I sent emails to these bloggers and asked them kindly to remove my designs (although I'm actually ready to explode). Then I realize these bloggers were hotlinking from my server. Thus I decided to remove those graphics for a while from my server until i copyright all of them including the avatar.

Still hot and ready to erupt. Grrr.

Thats just terrible in itself! I am sorry to hear that had to happen... it is quite sad because ther are so many people who have amazing imaginations and creativity of there own, but refuse to take the time and figure that out. And make there own designs. Thus, they steal someone elses when they could have made something original, and amazing. Well, again i am truley sorry to hear that they are perying on your designs, which are wonderfull.. I hope it all turns out, and they remove them, and stop claiming them for their own! GOOD LUCK!

I would say contact those basterds tell them that they at least should have said those works came from you. Then i would make a copyright text and put it at the top left of all you pictures......Then they can't steal it like that. And if they don't listen and you can prove that those pics are your own.....i would like tell it everybody and maybe go to the police or something alike....
